Alex, Jason and Joey are developers in our group attending the internal Hack Day going on today. The next one is coming soon. They have figured a way to fight the leeching of feeds.

So (some) sites (…) have been leaching our music video feeds for a while and we have been in a “cat & mouse” game with them. This morning at 3:40am CST… i think we won. See Video at V.Y.C

Jason had the following to tell me in a chat:

as alot of myspacers use our leached feeds
they took down anything pointing to us
for now
we had it rolling for 3+ hours
it hit about 6-7 other leaching sites
it was epic
