			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thinking about upgrading, and received a friendly message from my hosting provider informing me of applications which are out-of-date, and a warning that really old applications could potentially be removed. Since WordPress was on the list, it felt like time to get the latest version.</p>
<p>Everything went fine with the upgrade, after all I&#8217;ve done it before. One thing was a little funny, the URLs had little minus twos in them (-2) instead of the categories I&#8217;d filed the articles under. Looking at the database, I found the data in the wp_terms table, and no names. The upgrade had blown away some data. I searched the interwebs and found a <a href="http://blog.cumps.be/wordpress-26-upgrade-fix-missing-categories/">good article by David Cumps to fix the missing categories</a>. </p>
<p>Hopefully all the categories are correct. I guess I should go look through all incoming links and make sure they still work, someday.</p>
